Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, has been leaked in renders ahead of its official launch. The images, shared by SmartPrix, reveal that the design of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, with a foldable exterior screen, dual cameras, and flat aluminum frames.
While the overall design remains the same, there are some notable changes in the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The power button on the device may be haptic instead of physical, and the dimensions of the phone will be slightly different, with a thinner and narrower profile compared to the Z Flip 5. The device will also come with a larger battery capacity of 4,000 mAh, addressing one of the common complaints about foldable phones – poor battery life.
Although specifics about the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s hardware and features are not yet confirmed, it is speculated that the phone might come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor or the Exynos 2400 chipset. The camera configuration is expected to remain the same, featuring a wide-angle sensor and an ultra-wide-angle camera.
While there is no official release date for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, it is likely to be announced in August. Stay tuned for more updates on Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphone.
