“Ys Memoirs: Felgana’s Oath” to be Released for PS5/PS4 in 2024
Developed by Japan’s Falcom Corporation and Cloud Leopard Entertainment, the traditional Chinese version of the popular “Ys” series, “Ys Memoirs: Felgana’s Oath,” will be released for the PS5/PS4 on May 23, 2024. Following its launch on the Nintendo Switch in May 2023, the game is now set to make its debut on the PlayStation platform.
The PS version of the game will be available for 4,400 yen as a downloaded or packaged version. In addition to the “reversible cover” bonus offered in the Switch version, players will also receive a remastered version of “Music From Ys III” as a first-time bonus. Early bird buyers will receive a digital soundtrack album of “Music From Ys III” as a bonus for the PS version.
The game is the latest HD remake of the PSP game “Ys: Oath of Felghana” released in 2010. The PS version features voice performances for over 30 characters, including the protagonist Adol, who is voiced by Kaji Yuki. New visual enhancements, which can be switched with the original version, have also been added to the game. Through high-definition picture reproduction and improved sound quality, the PS version aims to provide players with an enhanced gaming experience.
