Philips Unveils Impressive Upgrades to Flagship OLED TVs

Philips has once again proven itself as a powerhouse in the TV industry with the release of its flagship OLED TV OLED+959. The 65-inch TV boasts a 3,000nits brightness, a feature unique to the brand. The OLED+959 also comes equipped with an upgraded Ambilight technology, now dubbed “Ambilight Plus”, featuring a multi-lens structure to create a wider range of ambient lighting effects.

The TV is powered by the new “8th Gen P5 AI Dual Engine” processor, which promises to enhance HDR content and Ambient Light lighting effects. The processor also integrates AI processing capabilities to improve the display of image details and standard-definition content. In addition, the OLED+959 is equipped with a 5.1.2-channel sound system designed by B&W, delivering an impressive 102W output.

But the OLED+959 is not the only impressive release from Philips this year. The Qigui OLED+909 is set to hit the market, offering a 3,000nits brightness MLA OLED panel and coming in sizes of 55, 65, and 77 inches. It too supports 4K/120Hz and VRR, with gaming functions such as ALLM. Additionally, the processor, B&W sound system, and Ambilight are all second-tier configurations.

For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, the OLED809 is available, featuring a 1,300nits OLED panel, a self-designed 2.1-channel audio, and a variety of size options ranging from 42 to 77 inches.

With these new releases, Philips has once again solidified its position as a top contender in the TV market, offering a range of impressive features and options for consumers.
