Ubisoft Set to Release Dark, Single-Protgonist Assassin’s Creed Game
Ubisoft is gearing up for a flurry of new Assassin’s Creed projects, with one of the most anticipated being the long-awaited journey into feudal Japan in Assassin’s Creed Red. However, it is another game in the franchise that is really catching the attention of fans and critics alike – Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe.
According to a recent report by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe is set to be “The darkest Assassin’s Creed game ever”. The game will feature only one protagonist, a female character named Elsa, breaking away from the traditional formula of allowing players to choose their character and gender.
While Assassin’s Creed Red is rumored to be launching later this year and a multiplayer game called Invictus is expected in 2025, Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe is speculated to be released in 2026. The game promises to take players on a wild ride through a story filled with witches and strange occurrences in the Assassin’s Creed universe.
Fans can expect a fresh and dark take on the beloved franchise with Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, making it a highly anticipated addition to the series.
