The Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra were presented on January 17, 2024 as part of the Galaxy Unpacked event. You can now pre-order the new smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus are again equipped with the in-house Exynos chip in Europe. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is installed in the Galaxy S24 Ultra in this country. Most recently, Samsung used the same chip for all markets.
With a 50-megapixel main camera and 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, the cameras have hardly any changes to the predecessor of the S24 generation.

Price: How much does the Samsung Galaxy S24 cost?
Samsung surprised at the prices for its new generation of smartphones. Compared to the previous model, the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus are 50.00 euros cheaper. One possible reason: Apple recently lowered the prices for the iPhone. The S24 Ultra has become 50.00 euros more expensive. The prices for the S24 depend on the version and features between 899.00 euros and 1809.00 euros:

Samsung Galaxy S24 Design: This is what the new smartphones look like
Samsung is giving each new Galaxy S generation one “new design. What is new here is in quotation marks, as these are always only small adjustments. The three smartphones of the S24 generation have all a flat design up and come without side roundings therefore. They are particularly narrow at the edges, making the smartphones amazing strongly reminiscent of the competition from Apple. Visually, they appear particularly high-quality. The Ultra also has a titanium frame – but as previously expected, this doesn’t change the weight. All three smartphones are in the colors Schwarz, Grau, Violet and Gelb available. With Blau, Green and Orange There are also online-exclusive colors for the S24.
Samsung Galaxy S24: What can the new chip do?
2023 was a turning point for Samsung. So far, the manufacturer in Europe has always had its own Exynos-Chip used while in the USA for example Snapdragon-Chip was installed. With the S23, the same chip was chosen for all markets for the first time. However, this trend does not continue with the Galaxy S24. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is also equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in Germany for the first time. This is the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from the S23. The Exynos 2400 is a Upgrade to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and is installed in the S24 and S24 Plus. It can’t quite compete with the Sanpdragon 8 Gen 3 or the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15, but it is also very powerful.

What upgrades does the S24 display have?
The screen diagonals of the S24 cell phones are 6.2 inches (S24), 6.7 inches (S24 Plus) and 6.8 inches (S24 Ultra), so they are new smartphones only slightly larger than its predecessors. At the S24 Plus has not changed anything in terms of size. Otherwise all models come with it AMOLED-Displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The brightness applies to all devices up to 2600 nits – it has increased significantly compared to the S23.
S24: What camera innovations are there?
As experts already suspected, there were Cameras der Samsung-Galaxy-S24-Generation kaum Upgrades. Does the Samsung Galaxy S24 have a better battery?
The better a smartphone is, the more juice it needs, which is why premium smartphones often don’t have great battery life. The battery capacity of the new generation has been increased 4000 (S24) and 4900 milliamp hours (S24 Plus) only slightly increased. The S24 Ultra stays at 5000 The milliampere hour at the level of its predecessor. However, how the battery actually performs can only be seen in the test. Because it remains to be seen whether the new chips will not only more powerful, but also more efficient work and thus protect the battery.
What storage options is the S24 available in?
As suspected before publication, the S24 is coming back with the same storage options like the S23 therefore. The different models have the following storage options:
Samsung Galaxy S24: 128 or 256 gigabytes
Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus: 256 or 512 gigabytes
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: 256 gigabytes, 512 gigabytes or one terabyte
The RAM on the S24 is 8 and on the S24 Plus it is 12 gigabytes of RAM. With the S24 Ultra there are also between 8 and 12, depending on the version.
