Gigantic Byte Launches Cut the Cards Game, Allowing Players to Create Super Powerful Cards
The game development team Gigantic Byte has launched a new card battle game called Cut the Cards, where players will fight against monsters on a medieval map using the cards in their hands. What sets Cut the Cards apart from other card battle games is that players have the ability to customize their cards to create super powerful combinations.
In Cut the Cards, players can not only use the cards provided by the system, but also add to and customize the cards themselves. By cutting out description text from one card and pasting it onto another, players can create brand new cards with unique abilities. For example, cutting out “poison” and “frog” from the card “Attack with poison bullfrog” and pasting them onto another card can result in a new “Attack with poison cow” card. This innovative feature allows players to strategically customize their cards to easily defeat every monster on the map.
Additionally, players can assign attributes to cards, allowing them to attack monsters based on their weaknesses. For example, if the attack power of a “Fire Dice” card is weak against an ice monster, players can cut and paste the card to create a “Fire Cow” or even a “Fire Throwing Knife” or “Fire Arrow” to strengthen the attack power. This adds another layer of strategy to the game, as players must carefully consider which cards to use to pass each level.
The game features multiple levels on the map, allowing players to choose the level they want to play at will. Different monsters will randomly appear in each level, requiring players to adapt and customize their cards accordingly.
Aside from battles, players can also use their cards outside of battle. Cards with special effects will have a purple option appear, adding further depth and strategy to the game.
