Frame Break, a development team, has launched a new interstellar adventure game called Lightyear Frontier. In this game, players will control a multi-functional mecha to start a farming life in an open world, accompanied by relaxing space-country music, and can expand their home on a planet with up to three friends.
The mechas in the game are not just for farming, they also serve the purposes of construction and exploration. Players will collect resources to improve the performance of the mechas and can even paint them in different colors to suit their style. Lightyear Frontier is a farm simulation game with a focus on construction and production, offering players a peaceful gaming experience without the high-pressure of exhibition fighting.
In Lightyear Frontier, players will control a mecha to land on a certain planet in the interstellar world. The planet is filled with beautiful scenery and players can engage in farming activities, with no combat events or enemies to invade the peaceful atmosphere. Players can collect planted crops and exchange resources to modify the mecha, making it faster and more effective when building and exploring. They also have the option to paint the parts of the mecha.
Apart from farming, players can explore the planet’s history and can team up with friends to farm or explore. The game offers the option to control the mecha from a third-person or first-person perspective, and while exploring the planet, players may discover unique scenery that infers the past history of the planet.
Lightyear Frontier is set to be released on Steam on March 20 and will also be playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It offers players a unique and peaceful gaming experience, focusing on farming, construction, and exploration in a beautiful, otherworldly environment.
