The highly anticipated cross-platform mobile game “AFK: Journey” by Lilith Games is set to release its first promotional video (PV) and showcase the game’s four major challenge gameplays today. The game is expected to launch a free beta test titled “Sailout Test” on April 18.
The game’s storyline revolves around a post-war world where the gods have disappeared, leaving behind ruins and mysteries. As dark forces rise, players take on the role of “Merlin” who has lost his memory and must lead a group of heroes on a journey to save the earth under the guidance of the goddess Aya.
The PV reveals the fantastical journey that players will embark on, while the four major challenge gameplays offer a variety of experiences for players to unlock new content by completing levels.
One of the challenge gameplays, “Psychedelic City,” features daily boss challenges with increasing difficulty and rewards, as well as player rankings and hero suggestions. “Showdown of Honor” is a competitive mode where players can earn honor points and rewards by winning battles with random lineups. “Arena Challenge” is a PVP mode where players compete against each other and customize defensive strategies. Lastly, “Sand Table Exercise” is a guild team copy mode where players can attack territories and earn rewards by defeating enemies.
“Sword and Expedition: Departure” promises an engaging gameplay experience with a variety of challenges and rewards for players.
