CES 2024: The Coolest Smartphones on Display

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 has kicked off in Las Vegas, showcasing the latest technologies and groundbreaking innovations. While much of the attention during CES is on next-generation TVs and new automotive technology, there is also a lineup of exciting new smartphones to check out this year.

Among the best smartphones unveiled at CES 2024 are the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro and the Asus ROG Phone 8. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro comes packed with impressive specifications, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 16GB of RAM (upgradable to 24GB), and up to 1TB of storage. With a 6.78-inch Samsung LPTO flexible AMOLED touchscreen boasting a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, this phone is a powerhouse designed for gamers. It also features a 50MP main camera with a 6-axis gimbal stabilizer and a 32MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device is powered by a massive 5,500mAh battery and supports wireless charging, along with a 65W wired charging capability. Notably, it sports a mini LED screen on the back capable of displaying 20 different animations.

The standard ROG Phone 8 shares many similarities with the Pro version, although it lacks the mini LED animations on the back and offers 256GB of storage instead of 512GB.

TCL also made a splash at CES with the TCL 50 XL 5G, a smartphone featuring a large 6.8-inch 120Hz FHD+ display and dual speakers with DTS sound. Equipped with a 5,010mAh battery, the TCL 50 XL 5G is designed to provide reliable battery life.

TCL has also introduced two new NxtPaper smartphones, the TCL 50 XE NxtPaper 5G and TCL 50 XL NxtPaper 5G, featuring the company’s NxtPaper technology with matte screens designed to mimic the look and feel of paper.

With two color options and a price tag of $139, Clicks is set to be a game-changer in the smartphone accessory market.

CES 2024 has proven to be an exciting event for smartphone enthusiasts, offering a preview of the cutting-edge devices and accessories that will shape the industry in the coming year.
