Samsung Expands Galaxy AI Language Support to Break Language Barriers
The potential of AI is vast, and Samsung is leading the charge in breaking language barriers with its Galaxy AI technology. According to a recent announcement, Samsung has added three new languages to Galaxy AI: Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian, as well as three new dialects: Australian English, Cantonese, and Canadian French. This expansion brings the total number of languages supported by Galaxy AI to 16, including Spanish.
The addition of these new languages is a significant step forward in making AI accessible to a wider range of users around the world. Traditionally, AI features have been limited to a few languages, but Samsung’s Galaxy AI is changing that by supporting a diverse range of languages.
Furthermore, Samsung has revealed its plans to add four more languages by the end of the year: Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, and Swedish, as well as Traditional Chinese and European Portuguese. This broad language support not only allows for seamless use of AI functions but also facilitates communication with people from different nations without the need to learn their language.
One of the standout features of Galaxy AI is Live Translate, a bidirectional automatic translator that works with both text and voice. This feature enables real-time translation of conversations, making it easier for participants to understand each other, whether in work meetings, business discussions, or casual chats with friends and family.
Additionally, Galaxy AI offers features such as Interpreter, which instantly translates live conversations through a split-screen view, and Transcript Assist, which converts speech to text and can translate voice recordings in different languages. The chat assistant feature also helps in enhancing communication by generating suggestions to change the tone of the conversation based on the context.
In addition to its language support and translation features, Galaxy AI also focuses on productivity and time-saving capabilities with functions like Note Assist for generating AI summaries and Browsing Assist for summarizing news and web pages.
