This is how you can play Mortal Kombat 1 for free on PlayStation, Xbox Series and PC

Video game fans received great news this week as the Mortal Kombat franchise announced a free trial of one of its games for a limited time. From March 7 to 10, players will have the opportunity to access Mortal Kombat 1, with all local and online multiplayer modes available, as well as the first two chapters of the Story mode and the tutorial for ‘Johnny Cage’s Mansion Mesa in Invasions mode. Characters like ‘Liu Kang’, ‘General Shao’, and ‘Ashrah’ will also be available for selection during the trial.

For those interested in purchasing the game, there will be a 40 percent discount during the trial weekend for both the normal and premium editions. The free trial is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but there are some restrictions to be aware of.

To download the free trial, PlayStation 5 users can find Mortal Kombat 1 in the virtual store and download it, while Xbox Series X|S users must do the same from the Xbox store. PC users can access the trial through the Steam platform. The premium version of the game is priced at $475,999 Colombian pesos, but with the discount, it can be purchased for $285,599 pesos, saving players $190,400 pesos.

Once the free trial ends, access to the game will be revoked, but progress made during the trial will carry over if players decide to purchase the full version. This includes Story mode progress, invasions, unlocks, and any additional purchases made.
