Microsoft Launches New Version of Windows 11 Dev/Canary, Introducing Exciting Features and Bug Fixes

After a two-week hiatus, Microsoft has finally launched a new version of Windows 11 Dev/Canary this week. The latest release includes a host of new features and bug fixes aimed at improving the overall user experience.

One notable addition in this update is the Copilot window problem. Windows Copilot now features a window mode, allowing users to resize, zoom, and move the Copilot window just like any other program. Additionally, Microsoft has retained the fixed dock mode of Copilot, giving users the option to switch between the two modes easily.

Another new feature introduced in this update is the live subtitles function. Users can now access real-time subtitles by clicking on the quick settings icon on the taskbar, making it easier to enable subtitles when needed.

In terms of design updates, Microsoft has revamped the progress bar style under the application icon. Users will now see a thin line below the colored progress bar, making it easier to track progress within applications.

Furthermore, File Manager now offers a more user-friendly experience when unzipping files. Users will receive a dialog box in case of file name conflicts, allowing them to choose how to proceed with conflicting operations.

Additionally, users can now rename printers directly from the Settings menu under Bluetooth & Devices, Printers & Scanners.

The update also includes a comprehensive bug fix section, addressing issues such as memory leaks, File Explorer freezes, search result display errors, GPU display inaccuracies, job administrator reliability, audio output problems, input method-related fixes, and more.

Overall, this latest version of Windows 11 Dev/Canary brings a range of new features and improvements, making it a highly anticipated update for users. Whether you’re a developer or a casual user, the latest release promises a smoother and more efficient Windows 11 experience.
