Microsoft has announced that it will be holding the “Xbox Future Vision” Sharing Event in the form of a podcast at 4 a.m. on February 16th. The event will feature three important figures, including Microsoft Game CEO Phil Spencer, Xbox President Sarah Bond, and Xbox Game Studios Head Matt Booty. There is much speculation about the specific content that will be announced at the event.
One likely possibility is that first-party popular works such as “Starry Sky,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Hi-Fi Rush,” and “Gears of War” will be opened to PS5 or Nintendo Switch. Additionally, Microsoft has indicated that it will further cancel exclusivity and embrace cross-platform gaming.
More radical players have speculated that Microsoft may even withdraw from the console business altogether. However, the probability of this happening seems to be much lower.
