(Central News Agency reporter Wu Jiahao, Taipei, 29th) YouTube launched the free application YouTube Create last year to help creators edit short videos and long videos. The outside world interpreted it as an effort to resist competition from TikTok. Today the beta version of YouTube Create is launched in 13 new markets, including Taiwan, in an attempt to attract more creators.
Although YouTube is still the main social platform for teenagers to source information, TikTok has been catching up in recent years. How to attract a large number of creators to ātake refugeā and seize the attention of young audiences has become the focus of the active layout of major social platforms.
YouTube announced on its official blog that it will launch a beta version of YouTube Create for the Android platform in Taiwan and more countries today, allowing creators to focus more on their creativity and bring better results to their videos.
YouTube explains that after creators record videos on their mobile phones, they can start editing by uploading the videos directly to YouTube Create. YouTube Create provides a royalty-free music library that can match the most suitable music for videos without having to worry about copyright claims.
In order to make it easier to add transition effects at the right time in the video, YouTube Create provides a beat matching tool. After clicking the āFind Beatā option, the most noticeable music rhythm will automatically appear, and a mark will be added to the corresponding position on the timeline. Allows creators to easily adjust video clips to match the beat.
In addition, YouTube Create can automatically remove background noise so that viewers can clearly hear the creatorās voice, and can also use the automatic subtitles function to transcribe and edit video subtitles. (Editor: Lin Shuyuan)
