The Federal Office for Security in Information Technology (BSI) reported a security advisory for Zoho ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus MSP on January 19, 2024. The security vulnerability affects the operating systems UNIX, Linux and Windows as well as the product Zoho ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.

The Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) is used to assess the severity of vulnerabilities in computer systems. ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus is a help desk and asset management software.
A remote, authenticated attacker could exploit a vulnerability in Zoho ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus MSP to conduct a cross-site scripting attack.
The vulnerability is identified with the unique CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) serial number. CVE-2023-49943 traded.
