jpnn.com – GIANYAR – Persib Bandung achieved their fourth consecutive win, after beating Persikabo 1973 in the 29th week of League 1, at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Friday (15/3) evening WIB.

Maung Bandung – Persib’s nickname, who acted as the visiting team won 3-1.

Persib’s goals came from David da Silva (3rd and 66th minute penalties) and Stefano Beltrame (58), while Persikabo got a consolation goal from Yandi Sofyan (86).

Persib, who played with ten players after Dedi Kusnandar took an early shower in the 36th minute, was able to take advantage of the frustration of the Persikabo players.

The superior number of players meant that Persikabo controlled the ball more often, especially in the second half.

However, Laskar Padjadjaran – Persikabo’s nickname, which is now coached by Coach Djanur, was not perfect in terms of final resolution.

Meanwhile, Persib, which relies on a foreign trio up front, namely David da Silva, Stefano Beltrame and Ciro Alves, is able to take advantage of the occasional opportunities it gets.

This victory makes Persib comfortable in second place in the League 1 standings; 54 points from 29 matches.

Eight goals were scored in the Persikabo vs Persib Bandung and Barito Putera vs PSM Makassar matches in Week 29 of League 1.
