Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Today’s earthquake information, an earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude rocked the West Lombok Regency area, NTB, Wednesday (8/5/24). The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) informed that the epicenter of the earthquake was 97 km southwest of West Lombok.
The exact location is at 9.51 South Latitude, 115.84 East Longitude at a depth of 78 kilometers. The earthquake occurred at 05.09 WIB.
“There is no potential for a tsunami,” wrote BMKG, reported by cnnindonesia.
Earthquake vibrations were felt in a number of areas, namely Badung, Denpasar, Gianyar, Tabanan, Central Lombok, West Lombok, East Lombok, North Lombok, Mataram City, West Sumbawa and Karangasem. It is not yet known whether there were any victims or damage caused by the earthquake.
