Meteorologists from the BH Meteo website announce that, after a calmer day, cloud cover will arrive with a cold front approaching from the west.
They warn that the weather will change in the evening, with the arrival of a strong cold front from the west. A cold front would arrive over Krajina tonight between 6 and 7 p.m., bringing strong to stormy winds, heavier rain and thunder. Then, in the rest of the evening, it will move relatively quickly to the east, thus covering all parts of BiH by Thursday night.
“Special caution tonight for parts of Krajina, western, partially central Bosnia and Herzegovina due to strong to stormy wind gusts that in some places can reach hurricane force of close to 100 km/h due to convective processes, which would cause some damage to residential buildings, breaking trees and similar. In addition to the wind, the most precipitation is expected in these regions, with mostly heavy rain and showers with thunder, in some places there may also be thunderstorms,” they warn.
According to their forecast, the least amount of precipitation is expected in parts of northeastern, eastern and mostly central BiH, where the cold front will arrive after 9 pm, bringing passing rain and gusts of strong wind. Also, on the tops of the highest mountains, snow is possible tonight.
On the night of Thursday, the weather will calm down, so Thursday will bring calmer weather with only locally possible rain and showers and mostly moderate to mostly cloudy and windy weather.
In addition, meteorologists across the country are forecasting strong, local and stormy gusts of south and south-westerly winds for Thursday. Wind strength mostly 30 – 50 km/h, locally up to 70 kilometers per hour, reports Klix.
