The film Desierto is scheduled to appear at the Trans TV Cinema today, Wednesday 24 January 2024 at 23.00 WIB. This thriller drama genre film was released in 2015, directed by Jonás Cuarón.
Desierto is a film starring several well-known artists such as Gael García Bernal, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alondra Hidalgo, and Diego Cataño.
Desert Film Synopsis
A group of Mexican migrant workers seek a better life by crossing the US border illegally. When the truck carrying them breaks down in the middle of nowhere, the driver directs the migrants and their fellow Mechas toward the United States.

Moises was one of the migrants who was just following the road, when the group split in two while trying to cross the border.
Sam is a cruel officer on guard with his loyal but vicious Malinois dog, Tracker. They hunted rabbits near the border and watched for groups trespassing.
With Tracker’s help and the use of his M1 Garand rifle, Sam kills most of the immigrant group. He only left Moises and Adela as the only survivors after a long chase.
Sam decides to continue his hunt the next day and goes with Tracker. Meanwhile Adela and Moises find a place to rest.
Adela admits that she is sad because her friend, who was one of Sam’s victims, was sent by her parents to protect her. Moises admits to Adela that he has already been to the US and that he has family waiting for him in Oakland. He also tried to calm Adela.
Meanwhile, Sam rests by the campfire with Tracker. The next morning Adela and Moises steal Sam’s truck, using a teddy bear to distract the two.
They managed to start the truck and escape. But unfortunately, Sam shoots Adela in the shoulder, causing Moises to crash the truck. They continue on foot, followed by Sam and Tracker. How will the lives of these two immigrants end?
