AC/DC in Switzerland: Tickets are available from this date

On November 13, 2020, hard rockers AC/DC released their last album “PWR UP”. A little more than three years later, the Australians around lead guitarist Angus Young (68) have now announced the accompanying tour. The biggest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world will play a total of 21 concerts in ten countries.

On their tour, AC/DC will also stop in Switzerland and will grace the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich on June 29, 2024. The “PWR/UP” tour is the band’s first European tour in eight years. Tickets for the gigs are available from Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Standing tickets cost from 136.35 francs, seats are available from 209.20 francs.

AC/DC played their very first concert on December 31, 1973 at Checkers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. They are one of the most influential rock bands in history and have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. The LP “Back In Black” is the best-selling album by a band of all time and the third best-selling album by an artist with over 50 million albums sold worldwide. The band was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and the Music Victoria Awards Hall Of Fame in their home country of Australia in 2003. The band still manages to fill entire stadiums, sells millions of albums every year and generates billions of dollars in streams.
