Afghanistan, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid: “We ask Italy to recognize us. China will finance us”

We meet the Taliban spokesperson, Zabiullah Mujahid, on the second floor of the ministry of information and culture in Kabul, after having passed the security check in a long and narrow corridor bordered only by reinforced concrete and barbed wire. We go up the stairs and we are made to sit in an elegantly furnished study where the politician awaits us, from the taking of Kabul face of the Taliban in public speeches.
