In the night between Saturday and Sunday, new information had arrived, precise, of an umpteenth attack that Isis K was ready to carry out in the airport area. And so the United States decided to intervene, hitting a car with a drone just under two kilometers from the entrance to Kabul airport, in the Khuwja Bughra district. On board, according to what the Pentagon men told, there were a group of suicide bombers ready to hit the Americans who are carrying out the latest operations at the airport. “The target has been hit,” US forces said. But, at least this is denounced by Afghanistan, the explosion would have caused the death of some civilians. There are those who speak of at least three children hit by a side explosion.

In any case, the Taliban, through one of their spokesmen, Bilal Kareemi, admitted that there was at least one suicide bomber in the car hit, ready to strike. But they argued that US soldiers “had no right to conduct operations on the ground of others” and that they should therefore have informed the Taliban.
