Managing agency Kim Soo-hyunGold Medalist, denied rumors that his star was dating Kim Sae-ron, after a selfie photo of the two of them spread online.
“We would like to inform you that the current Kim Soo-hyun dating rumors are unfounded,” said a representative for the Gold Medalist as reported. Prayer on Sunday (24/3).

“The photos circulating online appear to have been taken when the two were in the same company in the past, and Kim Sae-ron’s intentions behind her actions are completely unknown,” he continued.
Gold Medalist said that the selfie photo which was spread and then deleted by Kim Sae-ron gave rise to misunderstandings “and unnecessary speculation” about their artist.
“Our company will take firm action through our legal representatives, against malicious slander and insulting posts that defame our actors’ good names and reputations,” said Gold Medalist.
“In this regard, we ask you not to upload baseless rumors and speculative posts,” he continued.

Actress Kim Sae-ron and actor Kim Soo-hyun were previously rumored to be dating after the actress uploaded a photo of the two of them taking close photos on social media on Sunday (24/3).
As reported by the Korea Herald, Kim Sae-ron uploaded a story on her Instagram account containing a selfie of her and Kim Soo-hyun at a very close distance.
The two of them took a selfie with their cheeks pressed together. Kim Sae-ron appears to be smiling with her left eye closed, while Kim Soo-hyun, whose right cheek is pressed against Kim Sae-ron, appears to be looking at the camera.
However, the photo did not last long. A moment later, Kim Sae-ron deleted the photo. Even so, screenshots of the Story have spread to social media.
The Korea Herald said that after deleting the photo, Kim Sae-won did not upload anything else.
Previously, Gold Medalist had also been Kim Sae-ron’s representative since 2020. However, in 2022, Kim Sae-ron terminated the contract after a drunk driving incident that year.
In 2023, Kim Sae-won was fined 20 million won which is equivalent to Rp. 235 million due to being caught driving while drunk and since then, he has not had any work projects.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyun is starring in the popular drama Queen of Tears which is currently still airing on tvN and Netflix. The series received the highest rating of 13 percent in its fourth episode which aired March 17.
