New managers for Neiva, Pitalito and La Plata Hospitals

Departmental authorities have appointed new managers for three hospitals. Through decrees No. 083, 084 and 085 of 2024, the appointment of the leaders who will be in charge of the hospitals of Neiva, Pitalito and La Plata, respectively, was formalized.

These are the professionals who will assume such crucial responsibility:

1. University Hospital of Neiva ‘Hernando Moncaleano Perdomo’: Juan Diego Fierro Oliveros

With extensive experience in the medical and administrative field, Juan Diego Fierro Oliveros, 41, a native of Neiva, assumes the position of manager of this prestigious hospital center. With training in medicine and surgery from the Universidad Surcolombiana, as well as specializations in epidemiology and health auditing, Fierro has solid experience in various leadership roles in the health sector.

2. San Antonio de Pitalito Hospital: Diana Marcela Conde Martín

Dr. Diana Marcela Conde Martín, a native of Pitalito and 42 years old, will be in charge of directing the San Antonio Hospital in her native municipality. With a 19-year career at this hospital, Conde has played key roles that have prepared her for this new challenge, including her experience as technical assistant manager.

3. San Antonio de Padua Hospital in La Plata: José Antonio Muñoz Paz

José Antonio Muñoz Paz, a general practitioner with specialization in Health Management and extensive administrative experience, assumes the management of this hospital in La Plata. With 21 years of experience in health institutions in the region, Muñoz Paz brings his training and experience to lead this important hospital center.

It is important to highlight that all the appointments come from the Huila region and are graduates of the Universidad Surcolombiana.

These new managers will assume their duties on April 1st.
