Alianza Lima vs Sport Boys: the ‘blanquiazul’ team beat the Chalaco team 3-0 on Thursday, April 18, on date 12 of the Liga 1 2024 Apertura Tournament. The match was played at the National Stadium in Lima.
With goals from Cristian Neira (6′), Juan Pablo Freytes (77′) and Cecilio Waterman (80′), the ‘intimates’ achieved their fourth straight win in the Apertura, reaching 24 points and consolidating themselves in third place in the the standings. The ‘pinks’ were left with 11 units and were relegated to the bottom of the classification.
Alianza Lima will face Colo Colo on Tuesday, April 23 for date 3 of the Copa Libertadores 2024 in Santiago. Then they will face Melgar in Arequipa on Sunday the 28th for matchday 13 of League 1. For their part, Sport Boys will play against Unión Comercio in the Apertura Tournament at the Miguel Grau in Callao on Saturday the 27th.
