Indonesian men’s singles badminton player, Jonatan Christie, celebrated after confirming his ticket to the 2024 All England Open final at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England, Saturday (16/3/2024).

BOLASPORT.COM – Indonesia has three representatives in the final round of the All England Open 2024 which will be held at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England, Sunday (17/3/2024).

The Red and White badminton players have even sealed one title through all Indonesian final between men’s singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie.

Jonathan and Ginting repeated Indonesia’s men’s singles achievement in the oldest badminton tournament, 30 years ago.

The All Indonesian Final in the men’s singles sector of the All England Open last occurred in 1994 through a civil war between Hariyanto Arbi and Ardy B Wiranata.

“Grateful and happy today,” said Anthony Ginting after the semifinal match, quoted by BolaSport.com from a PBSI press release.

“Not only because of winning, but being able to manage everything well on the field. Being able to maintain focus well from the start of the match to the end, that’s important too.”

“If you can play well and solve all the problems, the chances of success are greater,” he said, after being knocked back sharply in the first game.

The final match at the All England Open 2024 was the 10th meeting between Anthony and Jonathan.
