Libertadores Champion with Fluminense in 2023, midfielder Giovanni was made official as Amazonas FC’s new reinforcement for the season. The athlete is already integrated into the Aurinegro squad, regularized with the Daily Newsletter (BID) of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and available to coach Luizinho Vieira to debut.

Born in Bauru (SP), Giovanni Manson Ribeiro is 22 years old and, for the first time, will play for a team from the North. The midfielder was revealed by Santos-SP, played for Ajax and Telstar, from the Netherlands, and returned to Brazilian football last year, to defend the colors of Tricolor das Laranjeiras, for which he won the Campeonato Carioca and the Copa Libertadores.
The new reinforcement of the Jaguar will be another option for the creative sector, alongside Rafael Tavares, Diego Torres, Fellipe Bastos, Eduardo Teixeira and Foguinho. Amazonas returns to the field on Wednesday (6). Against Capital-TO, Aurinegro will debut in the Copa Verde, at Arena da Amazônia, at 8pm. Ticket information will be released in the coming days.
