Olten is getting a new wine bar: a young couple is reopening “Nagy’s” on Kirchgasse as “Für Margrit”.

The father of the young Olten woman Margarethe von Arx placed two conditions on her admirer Ernst Felchlin when he asked for her hand in marriage around a century ago: he had to naturalize in Olten and buy a house in Olten. The lover did what was asked of him and purchased the building at Kirchgasse 11. He was allowed to marry his Margarethe.
