Apart from quotas, new policies for the 2024 Pre-Employment program include increasing collaboration, namely encouraging this program to collaborate with more training institutions to provide various quality training that is relevant to the needs of the job market.

Then, expand the reach of more communities in remote and disadvantaged areas, and also encourage the involvement of Training Institutes in more districts/cities throughout Indonesia.

Increasing the quality of training is also encouraged by adding training modes through asynchronous modes, namely self-paced learning (SPL). This method is unique because training must be accessed according to a flow/sequence.

To be able to receive a training scholarship through the regular “Join the Pre-Employment Wave” program, there are several conditions, including:

● Never been a Recipient of the Pre-Employment Card Program.

● Indonesian citizens must be at least 18 years old and at most 64 years old.

● Not currently pursuing formal education.

● Looking for work, workers/laborers who have been laid off, or workers/laborers who need to increase their work competency, such as workers/laborers who have been laid off and workers who do not receive wages, including micro & small business actors.

● Maximum of 2 NIK in 1 family that is a recipient of the Pre-Employment Card Program.

Since the beginning of 2024, Prakerja account registration via the www.prakerja.go.id page has been opened. This is important because it is one of the requirements for joining the Pre-Employment Wave. The opening of the Pre-Employment wave itself will be carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia at 19.00 WIB today.

“We hope that we can make the best use of this opportunity and take advantage of the facilities provided by the government through Prakerja, come on, create an account now,” he stressed.

“Also for training institutions, especially companies that have corporate universities, let’s join the pre-employment ecosystem, let’s collaborate to improve the quality of our workforce,” said Airlangga.
