ROME. Tragedy this morning in the foreign ministry: a worker, assigned to maintenance of the elevators, would have fallen inside the elevator shaft. He died instantly.
Accidents at work: falls from scaffolding, worker dies in Rome
This is yet another tragedy at work. The latest death – in chronological order – dates back only to yesterday, just before lunch, when another 51-year-old worker lost his life after falling from the second floor of a scaffolding in a building. The man was working on the outside of a building in the Castro Pretorio district, in the central area of the capital.
