Friday (19/4/2024), Roma faced Milan at the Stadio Olimpico with high confidence. Daniele De Rossi’s squad managed to win 1-0 in the first leg duel at the San Siro last week.

The 1-0 victory in the first leg seemed to make AS Roma appear more confident in this match. Milan tried to attack, but Roma handled it well. 10 minutes into the game.
In the 12th minute, Roma scored the opening goal. Pellegrini’s hard shot hit the post, but the ball bounced in front of Mancini who was ready to shoot from close range. Goal! Roma 1-0 Milan.
In the 22nd minute, Roma scored the second goal. Lukaku chased the ball on the right, sent a pull pass. Dybala then received the ball in an open area, his shot curled towards the far post. Goal! Roma 2-0 Milan.
In the 31st minute, Roma lost one player. Zeki Celik was given a straight red card after bringing down Leao. The two teams were involved in chaos, the referee decided to send Celik off the field.
Second half, Milan tried everything to attack, but Roma defended very well. Milan was only able to score a goal in the 85th minute. Leao’s pass was shot hard by Gabbia. Goal! Roma 2-1 Milan.
7 minutes of additional time was not enough for Milan to reverse the position. Score 2-1 for AS Roma to win. Giallorossi to the semifinals of the 2023/2024 Europa League.
