Ashley Park, actress known for playing Mindy in the hit Netflix series ‘Emily in Paris’, has revealed through her social networks that she almost died after suffering septic shock.

The interpreter has explained to her followers that she had to be admitted to the ICU. “What started as tonsillitis turned into critical septic shock that infected and affected several organs,” she said. Now, she is grateful that her health is improving despite what the doctors had initially told her.

Through a publication on her Instagram account, in which you can see several photographs of her in the hospital, Ashley Park also wanted to dedicate some nice words to her partner, Paul Forman, also the actor of ‘Emily in Paris’ .

“You calmed my fears and carried me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, terrifying emergency rooms, countless scans, tests and injections, excruciating pain and so much confusion. All while we were alone on the other side of the world , of those we know. I love you more than I can ever say,” he confessed.

Finally, the actress wanted to thank the work of the doctors who treated her, ensuring that the worst is over. “I know I’m safe on the other side of the worst. Thank you for reading this. I’m recovering and I promise I’ll be fine,” she concluded.

For her part, the protagonist of ‘Emily in Paris’, Lilly Collins, wanted to dedicate some nice words to her co-star, showing her pain after learning what happened. “I can barely look at this without crying. I love you sister and I will be forever grateful that you are on the other side of this,” she wrote.
