The first half was very exciting. The Getafe camp didn’t want to lose even though Barcelona played very actively. In the 20th minute, Raphinha managed to finish Jules Kounde’s neat pass to put Barcelona 1-0 up.
Getafe tried to stem Barcelona’s game with physical duels. However, Barca was able to maintain their lead until the first half ended.
Getafe started the second half well. Luis Milla fired a hard kick in the 49th minute, which hit the post. However, that moment was also a turning point for the Barcelona camp.
In the 53rd minute, Joao Felix made the score 2-0. Felix received a mature pass from Andreas Christensen.
After that, Barcelona was unstoppable. Barcelona did not choose to play, but instead continued to attack. As a result, Frenkie de Jong (61′) and Fermin Torres (90+1) got their names on the scoreboard. Barcelona won 4-0 over Getafe.
