The classification was dramatic, but Piero Hincapié’s Bayer Leverkusen reached the semi-finals of the German Cup. With a goal that came in the 90th minute, defeated Stuttgart 3-2 this Tuesday, February 6.

Leverkusen, who did not play a great first half, was able to correct in the 45 minutes of the second half to achieve a provisional tie and then win.
In the 10th minute, Anton opened the scoring for the visitors, to the surprise of the Bayer Leverkusen fans. The local team was only able to equalize in the second half, through Andrich, who scored a great goal in the 48th minute, after a great right-footed shot.
But the joy was short-lived because Führich scored 2-1 for Stuttgart in the 58th minute.
Bayer Leverkusen, pushed by their fans, scored two high-quality goals in the final part of the match. Aldi completed a counterattack and in the 89th minute, a header from Jonathan Tah determined the final 3-2.
So, Piero Hincapié’s team reaches the semi-final of the German Cup, and has also played its 30th game without losing so far in the 2023-204 season in both the Bundesliga, German Cup and UEFA Europa League.
