“They are right, Gaza needs much more help“. As Joe Biden he replied to pro-Palestinian demonstrators that have interrupted at his rally in North Carolina, which focused on the issue of health care, and were escorted away by security. The protest began when demonstrators shouted: “What do you say about healthcare in Gaza?”. “Everyone has the right to healthcare”, was the president’s response, while the demonstrators remembered, interrupting the speech again, the Gaza hospitals bombed by Israelis and they accused Biden of being “accomplice to genocide”. At this point, Biden asked the public “to be patient” with the demonstrators and, as they were escorted away by security, she said that “they are right, we need to bring much more help to Gaza”. The pro-Palestinian and anti-war protests in Gaza have become a constant feature of Biden’s electoral campaign, who on other occasions has been interrupted by demonstrators during his rallies.
