Trieste has remained isolated, reachable only by sea, it risks being left without light, perhaps without water. The black smoke kept three thousand employees of Fincantieri di Monfalcone at home, in ordinary layoffs. In Versilia there are 600 displaced people, welcomed in schools, in hotels that have offered to host tourists. Also a stretch of sea, near Camaiore, has been forbidden: it is used by Canadair who commute to extinguish the fires that have already destroyed 800 hectares.
