Project by architect @rodrigovilasboas.arq, the Casa O BEM is a tribute to the harmony between contemporary architecture and the rustic landscape of Serra das Cabras, in Campinas, São Paulo.
Situated on a 46,700m² plot of land, Casa O BEM was designed to preserve and celebrate the exceptional panoramic views of the region. With a steep slope and the challenge of ensuring residents’ privacy in relation to neighbors and the condominium street, the architects found an elegant and functional solution.

The project adopted a contemporary approach, taking advantage of the terrain and using forms that respect the surrounding natural environment. With a distribution of full and empty spaces, the house offers 100% views from all environments, while a single pillar maintains the integrity of the landscape.

The gourmet area, strategically positioned at a higher elevation, not only allows air circulation, but also protects residents from the sun and rain, while preserving the south breeze that characterizes the land.
The entrance hall invites visitors to contemplate the horizon of untouched nature, while the two-story composition of the house harmoniously integrates into the landscape. Designed for a family, Casa O BEM has integrated environments and every detail was designed to enhance the occupants’ experiences.

The materials chosen for the construction, such as rough Roman travertine, cumaru wood lath, soft stone and concrete lath, were selected to blend into the natural horizon, celebrating the natural beauty of the region.
The preserved view, which was the main focus throughout the development of the project, is a tribute to nature, reflected in the name chosen by the client, Casa O BEM.
