KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has determined the implementation of business permits in the pawnshop sector in connection with the change of name of PT Biru Gadai Indo to PT Bijak Gadai Indo.
The granting of business permits is based on KEP-116/PL.02/2024 as of March 29 2024. The implementation of these business permits comes into effect from the date of the stipulation of the Decree of the Members of the Board of Commissioners in question.
With the implementation of the company’s business license, OJK said that PT Bijak Gadai Indo is required to carry out business activities to always apply healthy business practices and always refer to applicable laws and regulations.

Apart from that, OJK has also officially granted a business license to the reinsurance company PT Orion Reinsurance Indonesia. PT Orion Reinsurance Indonesia is located in West Kuningan, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.
The granting of business permits is based on KEP-28/D.05/2024 as of April 4 2024. The granting of business permits is valid from the date the decision of the Board of Commissioners in question is stipulated.
By granting this business permit, the OJK said that PT Orion Reinsurance Indonesia was asked to carry out business activities by implementing healthy business practices and always referring to applicable laws and regulations.
