According to a statement, the princess has been suffering from an infection that has involved her nose, ears and throat since May, and has forced her to undergo surgery followed by complications. To give the news to the tabloid is a statement from sister-in-law Chantell Wittstock. Charlène has lived for months in South Africa, separated from her husband Alberto and her two twins.
