Created by D.C. Moore and with direction from Oliver Hermanus, “Mary & George”a new Starz series starring Julianne Moore e Nicholas Galitzine, promises to be a great success. With a premiere date scheduled for April 5th, the production is based on the book “The King’s Assassin”written by Benjamin Woolley.
The historical drama tells the true story of Mary VilliersCountess of Buckingham, and her son, George Villiers. Together, they scheme, seduce and kill to win the Court of England and the love of the Rei James I.
In addition to the stars, the cast also includes Tony Curran, Laurie Davidson, Nicola Walker, Niamh Algar, Trine Dyrholm, Sean Gilder, Adrian Rawlins e Mark O’Halloran. But, after all, what can we expect from the series? With approval — so far — of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, most of the early reviews for “Mary & George” are positive.
