Check out the TSE judgment agenda for this Tuesday (9) — Superior Electoral Court

The ministers of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) must judge, in this Tuesday’s session (9), starting at 7 pm, an appeal involving alleged fraud regarding the gender quota practiced by the Green Party (PV) in the 2020 Elections in Manaus (AM) . The Plenary must also analyze the accountability of the PV National Directorate regarding the collection and application of financial resources in the 2020 electoral campaign.

There is also a case on the agenda that deals with alleged abuse of political and economic powers carried out by Manoel Portela de Carvalho Neto and José Adalberto de Sousa, elected, respectively, mayor and vice-mayor of Aroazes (PI) in the 2020 Elections.

See below the list of scheduled processes:

Special Electoral Appeal 0601652-82.2020.6.04.0001

The aforementioned appeal is against the decision of the Regional Electoral Court of Amazonas (TRE-AM) which rejected an action alleging alleged fraud regarding the gender quota practiced by the Municipal Directorate of the Green Party (PV) involving two illicit female candidates in the 2020 Elections in Manaus ( AM). The trial began in the virtual session held from March 8 to 14, 2024 and highlighted by Minister Ramos Tavares, following the votes of the rapporteur, Minister Cármen Lúcia, and Minister Alexandre de Moraes for the reform of the Regional’s decision.

Rapporteur: minister Cármen Lúcia

Accountability 0601643-37.2020.6.00.0000

This is an accountability process by the National Directorate of the Green Party (PV) regarding the collection and application of financial resources in the 2020 electoral campaign.

Rapporteur: minister Raul Araújo

Appeal against ruling of the Regional Electoral Court of Piauí (TRE-PI) that dismissed the case regarding alleged abuse of political and economic powers carried out by Manoel Portela de Carvalho Neto and José Adalberto de Sousa, elected, respectively, mayor and vice-mayor of the municipality of Aroazes (PI) in the 2020 Elections. The TRE judged the process terminated due to decadence (effective loss of a right due to its non-exercise within the stipulated period), as it understood that there was a lack of formation of the necessary passive joint venture between the beneficiary candidates and the perpetrators of the illicit conduct.

Rapporteur: minister Ramos Tavares
