Every day, new machines and new devices are offered to us. This, in order to enhance our environment, our existence. Multinationals, and especially national companies, carry out real local campaigns. First in the other structures, for good walking. They propose the establishment of a computer network within their administrations. They also offer installation and maintenance services for electrical and electronic devices.
Then, they allow citizens to discover new technologies. But showing them is not enough. Within these companies there are technicians specializing in information.

How do these local structures proceed to better reach citizens? Local companies actually play a very important role in this distribution chain.
They are the ones who do the basic work. After receiving from their partners, they distribute the devices across the country through their multiple agencies. This is how we see companies having two or three agencies in the same city. And above all, they are present during national and international fairs organized at different times of the year.
In Cameroon, cities such as Yaoundé, Douala and Bafoussam are the most in demand given the significant economic activities that take place there. But many traders from the hinterland also go back and forth there, in order to serve their different towns.
The action of multinationals
Generally, multinationals supply branded materials and equipment. They offer partnerships to local businesses and advocate progress and sustainable development for all. Sometimes they are simply active in structuring and maintaining systems in large companies.
We can quickly cite, as an action, the contribution to the development of new types of energy sources. They are involved, for example, in renewable energy and infrastructure projects for the needs of the public sector. They also happen to be found in the distribution of household appliances, and several other types of IT devices.
They are very often based in large cities. In Cameroon, there are several in the city of Yaoundé and Douala: Schneider Electric, CFAO Infrastructure, Carrefour stores among others. And that’s not all, they also organize training seminars.
