According to the Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK), this vending machine is located in front of a store selling tropical fish in Miyaki Town, Saga Prefecture. The “fried insects” sold include 12 kinds of bottled insects including moth larvae, crickets, and Japanese dragon lice. .

The bottle contains 20 to 30 fried insects according to the type, and the price is 1,000 yen per bottle.

According to the store, this is the first time that a vending machine selling insect food has been installed in Saga Prefecture.
