Köln – The VfL Wolfsburg footballers have won the DFB Cup for the tenth time in a row. In the 2-0 (2-0) win against FC Bayern Munich on Thursday in Cologne, Jule Brand (14th minute) and Dominique Janssen (40th) scored for VfL, who have already won their 50th game in a row in their favorite competition decided. The team from Lower Saxony prevented a possible double for the German champions from Munich in the final in front of 44,400 spectators. Overall, it was Wolfsburg’s eleventh cup win; since 2013, they were only unable to win in 2014.
