(LaPresse) A violent tornado hit the city of Virginia Beach, an independent city located on the southeast coast of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the United States. Around one hundred houses were damaged, with gas leaks in many houses. Many trees were downed by the tornado. City Manager Patrick Duhaney has declared a state of emergency.
