Persik Kediri held by PSS Sleman 4-4 in a fierce duel in Week 33 of Liga 1 2023/2024 at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Wednesday (24/4).

PSS gave Persik a surprise with a quick 1-0 lead in the seventh minute through Jonathan Bustos’ free kick.

Persik equalized the score at 1-1 in the 19th minute through Flavio Silva’s penalty kick. The penalty was awarded to the hosts after goalkeeper M Ridwan tripped Supriyadi.

PSS defender Thales also got his name on the scoreboard in the 23rd minute which put the visitors back ahead 2-1 thanks to Bustos’ assist.

Buston was again the actor in the Javanese Super Eagle goal in the 28th minute through Esteban Vizcarra’s goal. PSS leads 3-1.

Without additional goals in the remaining match, Persik was held back by PSS dramatically 4-4.
