Eurosceptics celebrate Meloni. Brussels trembles

BRUSSELS – European sovereignists rejoice. The EU Commission, on the other hand, is waiting for “proof of the facts”. If the final results are confirmed, the European Union will in fact have to deal with a team biased to the right. The doubts and perplexities about the positions expressed in the election campaign by the Brothers of Italy, Lega and Forza Italia remain. But at this point the attitude will inevitably be pragmatic.
