Not only Jokowi, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto also opened his voice about Mahfud wanting to leave the position of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM). According to the Golkar General Chair, the decision to resign or not will be the president’s prerogative
“Yes, that’s up to Pak Mahfud MD. But we know that the position of minister is the prerogative of the president, so let’s just make it clear,” said Airlangga after handing over food aid at the Bulog Warehouse in Indramayu, West Java.
