Why run onto the stage when you can appear from a red diamond floating under the ceiling? And why just sing and dance when you can dangle upside down from a trapeze while singing?

On Saturday evening, Das Erste showed the concert film for Helene Fischer’s “Rausch” arena tour and made it clear once and for all who in Germany wears the trousers – sorry – the skirts and glittery bodies when it comes to stage shows.

Helene Fischer surrounded by a circle of fire or in the center of a water feature in whose drops her face suddenly appears – during her show, which she planned in collaboration with the world-famous Cirque du Soleil, the audience was left salivating more than once .

Helene Fischer celebrates Disney moment with husband

Particularly impressive were the moments when the singer joined her numerous acrobats, performed courageous falling exercises on the trapeze or floated above the audience on a flying ladder.

Her appearance with her husband Thomas Seitel provided a truly magical moment à la Disney. When Helene Fischer sang the song “Hand in Hand” in a fairy green dress, the artist and father of her daughter suddenly came floating out of a cloud of smoke on a ribbon.

Together the two flew across the stage surrounded by drops of water falling from the ceiling. Sometimes he carried them in his hands, sometimes they floated hand in hand. The pop queen sang lines like: “So we stand here hand in hand. Deeply connected, for a whole life.”

Even those who aren’t hit fans, so much body control coupled with live singing command respect.

Helene Fischer can do something different

The singer showed at the beginning of the second half of her show that she can also play classic hits – without any acrobatics. She quickly moved to a mini stage in the middle of the arena and performed a best of the last 17 years with her band.

The pop queen also used the opportunity away from the main stage to be very close to her fans. Cuddly toys flew and Helene Fischer read signs from her fans out loud. One said:

“Swap a neck massage for a selfie.”

The pop queen thought it was a nice offer, but she declined. Her reason: If she relaxes too much now, she won’t be able to play the rest of the show.

Fans give away pink “Thomas socks”

But she then accepted a gift personally. Four young women in the front row handed the singer a pair of pink socks on stage.

The special feature: her husband’s face was printed on the socks. “I can really use it!” said Helene Fischer happily. The fans explained the choice of the gift clearly for everyone to hear with the words: “Because he’s so cute!”

“That’s right!” the singer replied simply. She didn’t want to put the socks on straight away, despite requests from the crowd.

Fan comes out at concert

And then there was a sign that Helene Fischer paid particular attention to. It said: “Dear Helene, can you please help me with my coming out?” A woman who had come to her concert alone raised it in the air. She wanted to come out about her homosexuality to her parents.

That’s what happened, the singer explained – after all, the concert would be broadcast on television. “I’m really happy for you,” she explained. And further: “You tell your parents, woe betide you, they react very stupidly!”

Is it all a coincidence or was it well planned? To support her words, Helene Fischer next played the song “Rainbow Colors” and waved a rainbow flag. She then took the opportunity to appeal to her fans to let everyone live as they are. “There’s room for everyone,” shouted the singer.

As part of her “Rausch – The Arena Tour” Helene Fischer played a total of 71 concerts in 2023 and sold more than 750,000 tickets. After this mega success, she is taking a break. She has planned her next stage program for 2026.
