60 years of marriage
In 1961, Frank and Frieda met through Luis, Weizerin’s brother, while skiing on the Teichalm. They have been together through thick and thin for 60 years. In a rare interview in 2013, Frieda said about their relationship: “We have always had a very liberal marriage.” And further: “He is my first and only great love. I had a good life.” Frank Stronach flashed a pragmatic look during an interview on his 90th birthday. “Back then I was looking for a woman with whom I could have children. There are multiple loves in one life. Also the one that lasts forever,” said the Canadian-by-choice to the Krone. “Frieda always knew that I had to be free. But I’m reliable and I look out for people.”
